Welcome to the United Airlines Ski and Snowboard Club!

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our group. The following is a brief overview of our club and the activities/events we have throughout the winter season. From December through early April we participate in monthly ski and snowboarding trips where we enjoy our shared love of snow riding. We meet up at great mountains around the world to eat, drink, laugh, dance, ski, and snowboard with our friends and colleagues from across the globe.  Our members range in age from their early twenties to our 87 year old legend, Bob Rice!  Although a majority of members are from flight operations, we do have members from other divisions within UAL with hopes of attracting many more!  Membership in the United Airlines Ski and Snowboard Club is open to all active employees (including anyone with a CJO) and retirees of United Airlines.  Event attendance is open to all active (dues paying) members and their guests.  With the massive growth at UAL, the future for our club looks bright!

In early December we host a United specific ski camp/learn to ski week that includes our friends in the Delta and UPS ski clubs. Traditionally the week is held at Copper Mountain.  Copper is a beautiful destination with high elevation and great snow making that usually delivers some very good early season conditions.  The remainder of the season from January thru April consists of three trips to North American destinations and one trip to an international destination.

The United Airlines Ski & Snowboard Club is part of two organizations.  The first is the North American Airlines Ski Federation (NAASF), which is comprised of ski clubs representing many of the airlines here in North America.  NAASF sponsors our three domestic ski weeks every year and negotiates the discounts we receive on the mountain.  The other organization is the International Airlines Ski Federation (IASF), which is comprised of ski clubs representing airlines from around the world.  The IASF organizes our international ski week every year which is known as the World Airline Ski Championship (WASC).

Our events run from Sundays through Fridays and are jam-packed.  To learn more about our ski weeks, check out the 'What is a Ski/Snowboard Week' link on the menu bar.  We also have a page for frequently asked questions and a contact form if you need to reach us.  If you want to join this amazing group of people who share a love for winter and snowy adventures, please go to our membership page and sign up today!  We look forward to seeing you on the mountain!
